How It Works
From your strategy idea to a live-trading Expert Advisor — a structured 5-phase development process with fixed pricing and full source code ownership.
Every project follows the same sequence. Each phase must pass review before we proceed. This eliminates surprises, keeps timelines predictable, and ensures the final EA matches what you asked for.

Strategy Specification
Every successful EA starts with a written document — not a vague idea. We work with you to produce a complete strategy specification that removes ambiguity before any code is written.
What We Document
- Entry conditions (indicator values, price levels, time filters)
- Exit conditions (TP, SL, trailing, time-based close)
- Position sizing rules (fixed, risk%, Martingale, etc.)
- Risk limits (max daily loss, max drawdown, max positions)
- Trade timing (session filters, news blackouts, day-of-week rules)
- Broker details (hedging/netting, symbol suffixes, stop-level)
Deliverable
- Written strategy specification document
- Risk parameter table
- Broker configuration checklist
- Hardware / VPS requirements
- Fixed-price quote confirmation
Architecture & Code
We don't do line-by-line ports. Every EA is architected with separated signal, execution, risk, and logging layers. This makes the code maintainable, testable, and portable across brokers.
Architecture Layers
- Signal Layer — entry/exit logic, indicator calculations, pattern detection
- Execution Layer — order placement, modification, cancellation, retry logic
- Risk Layer — position sizing, daily loss limits, drawdown guards, spread gates
- Logging Layer — trade journal, error logging, performance tracking
Code Standards
- Modular file structure (include files for each layer)
- Descriptive variable and function names
- Input parameters documented in code
- Error handling for all trade operations
- Clean compilation: zero warnings, zero errors
Backtest & Validation
A single backtest curve means nothing. We validate using multiple methodologies to distinguish real edge from overfitting.
Validation Methods
- Tick-data backtest with realistic spread model
- Walk-forward optimisation (in-sample / out-of-sample)
- Monte Carlo simulation (1000+ shuffled equity curves)
- Multi-period validation (bull, bear, sideways markets)
- Slippage and commission modelling
What We Report
- Full backtest report with equity curve
- Walk-forward analysis (WFA) results
- Monte Carlo confidence intervals
- Profit factor, Sharpe, max drawdown
- Trades list with entry/exit timestamps
Forward Test
Backtest-proven strategies are deployed on a demo account on your broker. We monitor fill quality, verify risk controls behave correctly, and confirm the EA performs in live market conditions.
Forward Test Period
- Minimum 2 weeks demo forward run
- Same broker symbol configuration
- Realistic trade size (micro/mini lots)
- Log monitoring for execution errors
What We Verify
- Trade execution matches signal logic
- Risk limits are enforced correctly
- Spread gates operate as configured
- News blackout windows function
- No unexpected errors in Expert log
Deploy & Support
After forward test validation, the EA is ready for live deployment. You receive everything needed to run and maintain the system independently.
What You Receive
- Full source code (MQL4, MQL5, or C#)
- Compiled EX4/EX5 files for immediate use
- Optimised SET files for different risk levels
- Deployment guide (PDF)
- Parameter reference sheet
- VPS setup assistance
Post-Delivery Support
- 14 days of direct support included
- Bug fixes and configuration adjustments
- Edge-case handling (broker-specific issues)
- Optional extended support retainer
Process — Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the entire process take?
Simple EAs in 5–7 business days. Complex multi-symbol systems in 10–14 days. Enterprise portfolio EAs may require 3–4 weeks.
Do I need a fully documented strategy to start?
No. Phase 1 turns your concept into a complete written specification. If you have indicators or a TradingView script, even better.
What if I don't like the EA after it's built?
We work from an approved spec. If the EA doesn't match that spec, we fix it at no cost. 14 days of post-delivery support included.
Can I make changes after development starts?
Minor adjustments are normal. Significant scope changes may affect pricing and timeline — handled transparently.
Do you provide the source code?
Yes. Full source code included with every project. You own it completely.
