Why This RSI Cluster Is Different
Most RSI pages explain the formula, repeat 70 as overbought and 30 as oversold, then show a basic divergence example. This cluster goes deeper. It treats RSI as a conditional market variable: the same RSI value can mean trend strength, exhaustion, panic, chop, or nothing useful depending on volatility, drawdown, forward expectancy, and regime state.

How To Use The Cluster
- Start with percentile: ask whether current RSI is actually rare for this market.
- Add volatility-adaptive thresholds: check whether the RSI tail remains extreme under similar volatility.
- Read the regime surface: inspect expected forward return, hit rate, sample count, and t-stat for the current RSI-volatility cell.
- Check the oversold boundary: decide whether low RSI is more likely reversal or continuation.
- Use the crash detector: only when the market is stressed and drawdown/volatility percentiles matter.
- Use Hidden-Markov RSI: judge whether the market is bull, bear, panic, or sideways before trusting any oscillator signal.
